ACU should not have had to decide to play guys, or save them for the playoffs against a non conference team.
I think ACU messed up big time by not winning tonight though. Kinda the last thing people will see before selection Sunday.
ACU still hosts. Tarleton should, but we’ll see.

The point is, conference champs and playoff worthy teams take care of business, regardless of whether or not a game is OOC or has much a playoff implication. Your point on the it being the last thing people see is exactly on point. The people will see a team that couldn't take care of business, and struggled against lesser opponents all season. They see a team with a decent winning record, the conference title, but inconsistency and struggles. It doesn't speak to a strong resume at the end of the day.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #13
My seats on on the top row of the upper deck. Dr. Hurley usually seats behind me in the first row of outdoor suites area. I overheard a few things he said.

He mentioned we will be installing new turf during the offseason. The current turf is 10 years old and the warranty expires now. The new turf will have a larger logo with the great state of Texas stretching from 40 to 40. The field will also be shifted closer to the home bleachers.

He also mentioned there are a couple of studs RBs coming in the next recruiting class.

If we had played all starters and Maverick got hurt, you’d be on here cussing the coaches and calling them idiots. Give it up man, your negativity can be felt all the way to Dallas right now.

We were getting curb stomped with Maverick in the game and most of our starters were in the game. Stop making excuses and deal with reality. The team wasn't ready for the game and got their butts handed to them. Carson actually did a great job. I have said all season that Carson is a great QB after watching him in practices. Deal with it. 07-coffee3

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #13
ACU losing to SFA in poor fashion, and Tarleton beating UCA handily on the day before selection? Uh yeah, that had everything to do with the seeding. It’s not being negative. It’s reality.
A couple seeding spots swapped. Maybe not a big deal in the end, but it’s a bad look. We both probably exit in Rd. 2
Those of y’all saying ACU was prepared, and took SFA seriously are delusional. If that was the case, y’all then have to believe that SFA is a better team, and ACU does not belong in the playoffs. Coaches and players should be held accountable. Again, it really doesn’t matter too much in the end, but it was a bad loss. Very bad.
UAC should have been 5-0 against the bus league.
