Prior to Trump’s first Presidency, I think they were actually friends with Trump. I do think a lot of the animosity is just bs.

So were people like Oprah, the Clintons, a lot of the Hollywood elites, and even Chuckie Schumer. They turned on him when he chose to quit, in a way, being a pawn and actually stand up and fight for us. (And I've said it before: I should've seen that in 2015. Thankfully, I started seeing it shortly into his first term.)
