Can Marist or La Salle Beat the Dukes?

Sure doesn't look like Marist will do anything against Duquesne based on their recent performances. That leaves La Salle, who has shown they can put up some numbers with their young squad.

Marist plays La Salle this weekend, so we'll see how it unfolds. It says here that La Salle will prevail.

If anybody is out there, comments are welcomed.

The MAAC got together and announced their pre-season poll in August. While the MAAC football particpants are dwindling, it will most definitely be an interesting season, as everyone jockeys for position after Duquesne. Will anybody hand the Dukes their first MAAC loss in many years? Stay tuned. In the meantime, here's how my predictions

....MINE.............MAAC

1) Duquesne......Duquesne

2) La Salle.........Iona

3) Iona..............Marist

4) Marist............La Salle

5) St Peters.......St Peters

It look like it will be the last season for MAAC Football with Duquesne leaving to go to the Patriot League and Iona, La Salle, Marist, Saint Peter's leaving to go to the Northeast Conference.

Missing teams from this forum

It looks like some of the main MAAC members are missing (i.e. Loyola of MD). Duquesne is an associate member (only participates for football). I don't know if someone with time & energy might want to not only add the missing full members, but alert those schools that the BBS exists, it might get traffic going on this board.
