Second point? The Dakota 4 should be grossly displeased with the MVC for screwing the Summit that way. Yes, the MVC, not the OVC. The MVC started this by wanting Murray BB and promising Murray a FB home in the MVFC (the Dakota 4 were against).

This power dynamic in the MVFC (the MVC faction vs the non-MVC faction) will likely be the demise of the MVFC.

The mvfc schools will simply join adjoining conferences and go on the same. The Dakota schools can stomp their snow boots all winter long, but their outlier status only gets worse without the mvfc.

Also, the MVC schools were under no obligation to add UND/USD. They did the Dakota’s a favor by adding UND/USD - and then the Dakota’s returned the favor by adding Murray. Both sides made an addition not in their best interest in order to benefit other schools in the league.
