Only D2 schools close enough to a large population that The Horizon would hope someone invites up before they snatched them are UI-Springfield, Lewis in Romeoville in the Chicago tv market and Roosevelt who is now transitioning to D2 out of Chicago.

You are seriously trying to push Roosevelt University to D1 when they are not a NCAA member at all. It will take them 8 years to be eligible to apply for D1. That makes it the year 2031 at the earliest provided nothing goes wrong and them being accepted to D2 in July. Their undergrad enrollment is about 2,600; do they have the finances to allow that type of move.
