Gentile Arena at Loyola in Chicago was nicely redone about 10 years ago. I think the problem that the MACC may have is that it isn't long which closes both ends in and doesn't allow for the full bowl that Trine or Loyola have.

One thing that I think would be nice is to redo the halls so that it makes a full loop around and then have good concessions on both ends. I think that it would require relocating the gymnastics practice room though. I don't like that they have the glassed-off section on the one side that seems to always be empty. One thing I wonder if it would be possible to redo the GA portion to have a concourse behind the stands instead of in front of it, bring the fans closer to the action.

Ah, just some random thoughts.

I've always been a fan of the arenas where you go into the gym from one level. For us that would somehow mean lowering the court. I don't know how we could do that without expanding the exterior some, which is sandwiched between 3 buildings.

Anyway, the current Power Ball jackpot is $132m.

I believe that with most newer arenas, the court is below ground level. The place where Dayton plays is well below.
