He better not think that.

This season was a pretty big let down with the talent and experience he was able to assemble.

Last season ended well, but took an absolute miracle to get there, and was kind of a let down through about 75% of the season.

He has to evaluate WHO he brings in through the portal. The portal is reality now, but do you bring in a bunch of Eric Gaines's, or do you bring in more Quan Jacksons and Mike Ertels?

He has to schedule better. We haven't been ready for conference play for 2 years straight or had a resume that we could have reasonably gotten at large bid with. (Unless we only lost 3-4 games, which again, with this team, should've been within expected outcomes - FAU did it - why did they have the season we were supposed to have?)

AK did let us down last night. FAU blitzed us, and have many have reminded me, they played exceptionally well and are a great team. We came in with piss poor effort and a very poor defensive plan - a lot of the former falls on coaching, all of the latter falls on coaching. This was not his best coaching job this year. He is a good coach, but not the infallible golden boy he is made out to be on here. He has a lot of looking in the mirror to do after this season.

That being said, I was impressed with how we turned the season around in February and the run we went on to end the season was awesome, until last night's humiliating rout in our worst game of the season. Beating UNT was very sweet. Too bad that was the team's conference championship.
