I'm partial to HS east coast bb based on what I've seen. As some of the nation's best bb is played in NJ. It's one reason St.Peter's (located in Jersey City, NJ) went to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament last year, and FDU ( located in Hackensack NJ) beat Purdue in the first-round yesterday.

The midwest has many good players, but it's my opinion EMU would be wise going forward to recruit more in the east (Monty Scott and Noah Farrakhan are from NJ) especially since many of Michigan's top-flight players flock to bigger schools.

Nope. You are preaching to the choir. Basketball along the East Coast is far better than Midwest.

I suspect that shows why the Midwest has not performed very well this year.
