RE: Penny’s coaching rating this year
Maybe it's the new norm for college basketball, but the last several seasons, even the COVID-shortened year, we see the team round into form the last quarter of the season, then the team explodes in the off season and we have to start over the next season. CPH needs to develop a consistent group of multi-year players to anchor the team.

Houston has been able to do that. Although the last 2 years, they were transfer heavy, this year's team is almost all home grown, with multi-year consistency from Shead, Sasser, and Mark in the backcourt (still mad at Mark for that stupid 3/4 court prayer).

We need some multi-year 4-star guys to build culture around with 5-star one-and-dones adding in as they come. Hopefully, that consistency starts with JLaw this year.
