On an island, they may not be a great addition, but you could look at a bloc with SMU/Rice. I'd agree that anything beyond two schools is dilutive and is bracing for additional defections. I think Oregon and UW need to get out of dodge before any new in-state legislation is passed to lock them up with WSU/OSU. May not be a bad idea to plan the pivot as the next G6 conference.

Adding even two schools for the PAC (except Gonzaga as a basketball only add) is dilutive. I don’t know why people don’t realize that.

Gonzaga (full member)/Air Force (fb only) and SDSU.

Except I doubt Stanford and Cal want to be routinely slapped around by the downstate Aztecs, and Washington and Wazzou probably don’t want to see the Zags, but at least they schedule them intermittently.

SDSU has only played Cal and Stanford a combined 28 times in football AND basketball!

Stanford used to regularly play SJSU. The series stopped when SJSU had the temerity to ask for a home game. Stanford probably only played them at home to steal their fans which was largely successful. If it weren’t for SJSU Cucks, Stanford might have no fans as many of their alums could care less about sports.

Stanford and SJSU have played 64 times. 61 @ Stanford, 3 @ SJSU
Cal and SJSU have played 33 times. 31 @ Cal and 2 @ SJSU…

Fresno by contrast
Fresno and Stanford have played 3 times last in 1928. All @Stanford
Fresno and Cal have played 3 times. 1 @ Cal 1@ Neutral 1@Fresno
