This aint it. Bengals did the right thing and should have done the right thing.

NFL is handling the lack of a result in that game terribly, in making accomodations for KC/Buffalo/Baltimore that have negative ramifications on the Bengals.

KC gets an easier path to the bye.
Buffalo gets a path to not going to KC and gets at least the 2 seed with a win.
Bengals (who were about 60% to win when the game was canceled) have no control over getting better than the 3 seed. They are eliminated from the 1 seed they would have gotten with 2 wins and a KC loss. Have no control over avoiding needing to go at Buffalo and at KC to make the Super Bowl. AND have a scenario where they could win the division and start the playoffs on the road.

It's a ridiculous plan by the NFL, but that doesn't change the fact that the Bengals did the right thing and would (and should) do it again every damn time.

Should have played Tuesday. Let the shock wear off from Monday, but play the game. Once Buffalo flew home I knew we would get screwed. I'm ok with coin toss with Ravens should they beat us this weekend, but only if we get to do the same for #2 seed with Buffalo if we are within a game of them after this weekend. Why is that not being communicated or offered?
