Perry had another solid season, and often found ways to pull out wins for UNT. I think he is deserving of the POY award. UAB was the preseason pick to win the title, and they underperformed. Maybe the overall season results hurt Jelly's case.

Yeah, I have no problem with Perry winning the award. Seemed like every game I watched with UNT, he hit some sort of significant shot towards the end of the game.
