Terrible news. The odds of C-USA getting two bids are decreasing.

While no loss is a good loss, at least it was only a quad 2 loss for the Owls since it was a road game. Florida is still a quad 1 win even though they are 14-12 and 8th in the SEC. That and the UNT road win are FAU's best wins on paper. They simply didn't schedule hard enough in the nonconference so these late season losses could leave them vulnerable. Ole Miss is playing terribly at the moment and are only 6 NET spots away from turning into a quad 3 loss. They have UTSA & UTEP at home followed by Rice & La Tech on the road. They cannot afford to lose any of these games as they would all be a quad 3 or quad 4 resume losses. Win out and lose in the semis or finals and they should be safely in. One loss in these last 4 games and they will be in serious jeopardy without winning it all in Frisco.

I agree. I just don't trust the system to keep them in the hunt for a bid, should they not win the conference tournament. I have a feeling C-USA will end up being a 1 bid league against this season. It's quickly becoming a win-it-in-Frisco, or get left out situation.
