Those NET rankings are trash this early. Obviously UNT, FAU and UAB are overrated and Rice, UTEP are underrated.

UAB is over rated with a 54 NET? Not really. 50ish is probably around the average of where UAB is in every ranking.

#54 NET
#42 Kenpom
#61 RealtimeRPI
#41 ESPN
#51 Sagarin

Those ratings are trash this early. Talent wise UAB is deeper than UNT and FAU for sure but there are 7 or 8 teams that can beat UAB especially on the road.

Have you ever watched basketball? Weird things happen in conference play and teams lose to "lesser" teams all the time. As for UNT and FAU, low scoring physical defense is UNTs style. FAU adapted and overcame.

JSU fan is probably not an expert in basketball.

Been to 1 ncaa tournament on merit in 2017 and 1 on a technicality due to the conference champion not being eligible.
