Wrong. We were never down 15. We didn't get blown out.

With 3:03 to go in the game yall were down 79-64. That's 15 pts. But I agree with you that yall didn't get blown out. Yall were always within striking distance until late.

Those darn facts always get in the way. Still think this is the best version of CUSA since WKU has joined for sure. I think the notion of us having a representative in the top 25 at any point this season is out the window. We likely have 4-5 teams that are in the 40-100 range, but nobody is close to that elite level. We just need the top teams to finish out the non conference best they can and hope we don’t beat up on each other too bad in the grueling 20 game conference slate. UAB seems to have the most talent but play sloppy and lack fundamentals. WKU has a ton of talent as usual, but early on it doesn’t appear the pieces fit perfectly. Our schedule has been pretty bad and we’ve squeaked by some teams we really should be pounding. FAU has been a surprise, but outside of a nice win against an overrated Florida, they’ve played nobody. MTSU looks athletic but also a soft schedule and trouble shooting. NT wasn’t full steam early on with guys missing time and look to still be gelling. Their style will keep them in games, no matter how awful it is to watch. Charlotte also another team raising eyebrows. Overall, some much improved teams which should set up some great games over the next couple of months.

MT a soft schedule ? Very comparable or better than others in C-USA. Only one D-1 home game so far (vs. Rice)

That's what I was thinking too. We have only played that one D1 game versus Rice, which we won by almost 40 points. All of our other games have been away from home against A10 and Missouri Valley schools among others. We did not lose a game at home all last season. I expect us to be very tough at home again this year. Our record would most likely be better if we had as many home games as most CUSA. Teams. Even with out three loses were are ranked much higher in the NET than teams like Western with only one loss.
