I'd say the most notable ones would be Tx Southern beat Arizona St (5-1), Grambling beat Colorado (3-3), and Prairie View beat Washington St (3-2). Southern also picked up a win over Cal but that's only a good win in name as Cal is winless.

Some decent wins in there like you said, but nothing too crazy

Alcorn State nearly had the biggest win for that conference, but lost on a last second missed shot by 1 point at #14 TCU to begin the season.
