Charlotte just hired the #2 man at Michigan. I doubt we come anywhere close to that, if the Skippy level candidates are true.

#2 man for a single season who is 63 years old with only private high school head coaching experience. He is by no means a home run and actually cares some decent risk.

Skip Holtz is a better hire on paper than Biff Poggie.

I honestly thought Holtz would go to Charlotte, considering he has ties in the area when he coached at ECU.
