It’s too early to have a top candidate yet, but I’d rank UAB first, USF second and Charlotte third.

UAB has money, new facilities (including a new stadium) and a championship pedigree. It went from a shut-down program to a highly sought-after job quickly thanks to the work of Bill Clark and the community. The potential at USF is probably higher, and it can spend more on a coach, but UAB is more readymade to win now. Bryant Vincent was named the interim head coach in the summer when Clark stepped down, but at 4-5 overall, it’s unlikely he gets the job.
