Bolded, it's so easy to overlook that and it's not to be taken for granted when I listen to some very disingenuous coaches at major programs.

And most of all, Wes comes off as genuine, especially talking about Cincinnati's rich basketball history and the fact that he is honored to coach here. I really do hope he is successful in turning it around this season; it's hard not to like him.

I mentioned this in the recruiting thread, but Wes treating this school like the elite college basketball program it should be has been a breath of fresh air. He really does seem to believe in this school as an elite college basketball program and seems honored to be a part of it.

Wes has a long way to go to accomplish what the last coach did, but I always felt like Cronin spoke like UC was lucky to have him, not the other way around...I never get that sense from Wes. It's a great quality. I hope the high level success follows.
