Their "best" win would be against a team ranked in the 50s in most computer rankings. A 2-loss AAC champ will absolutely beat them out for the NY6 spot.

They are also underdogs in those last two games. Typically that level of schedule isn’t going to get in done. It also doesn’t help that Old Dominion destroyed them.

In other words, all the chest thumping from the Fun Belt fans earlier in the year for getting some P5 wins is all for naught. I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's the conference strength you play in and how you play over the course of the season and in particular at the end. The CFP ratings showed all we need to know with two American teams ranked and Cincinnati still on the cusp.
