Vitale is sincere, but I've felt he's fallen victim to becoming the "Dickie V" character as years go by. The same could be said for Jim (Mad Money) Cramer.

At its extreme, the character takes over the man. At some point, Archie Leach actually became Cary Grant; there is no Richard Fliehr anymore, just Ric Flair.
