I don't think it's an ask to have less games (at least from the poster you replied to), it's for those games to be meaningful to the participants.
Same as people complaining about all the movies coming out being bad. They don't want there to be less movies. They just want better ones.
The part in red says there should be fewer bowl games.
If there are fewer bowl games, it's not like they're likely to replace that programming with something better. "Bad" college football is still better than fake debates or televised poker or whatever we'd probably get otherwise.
That’s your opinion. I usually don’t even watch any of those bowl games until Christmas Eve. They’re just not compelling enough for my taste. I would rather see the NCAA shift the FCS playoffs later and fill that air time with more of those games. They’re more compelling games.

Also, as I mentioned, there is always the Hallmark Channel. Or trimming the tree. Or wrapping presents. Or sledding. Or solitaire.
As I said before, it’s my opinion. I would prefer watching Mando or something like that over La Tech in the next Weedeater Bowl. Sorry.
