My prediction.

We end up with 4, 16 team Conferences and 1, 12 team Conference within the Power 5. There will only be 2 true Super Powers, B1G and SEC. The 16 team Big 12 and ACC conferences will be Power conferences with close to half the value of the B1G and SEC's media deals. The PAC will be a Power Conference in name only as it falls further behind the rest.

I truly believe that 16 is the maximum number of schools/teams that should be within a Football Conference. That allows for 4 Divisions of 4 team and ever teams plays every other team home and home every 4 years. It's the best option for maintaining rivalries and establishing local or close divisional members. People forget that a large part of the money being generated comes form the fans whom still attend games. That's why regional divisions are so important. 04-cheers
