I mean, how many times have you hypocrites laughed at the PAC for their failures, but oh my God, some try to better themselves and they are betraying! Please, you're school will be betraying others in the future too.

As for the Rose Bowl? Who cares, it was successful as long as it could be and now it is just part of the massive change.
As a matter of fact, I wrote this back in January at the Big Ten board.
I wrote
I wrote this because I could see what was about to transpire. It is not USC/UCLA job to take care of the other 10 schools in that conference. Look at what I wrote earlier about the USC president not wanting to add schools. She didn't want to because ther were none to add! If you all want to call that betrayal, that's cool, it's basically just hurt feelings by others trying to make USC look bad.

Wow, reading that provided a whole lot of nothing and was a complete waste of time.

I could care less about USC/UCLA's outlook or whatever their predicament is. I'm talking about the Big Ten and what they did by inviting their longtime partner's chief assets. You keep shifting it to USC/UCLA like it was all their decision. Nah, bud. The Big Ten invited them and knowingly destroyed their west coast compatriots. Did the Big Ten really need to do this? To their bestie??

I keep shifting to USC/UCLA because, in the case of USC, this thread is about them and not the turd you're trying to stir. Like I was telling Mark, spare me the better than thou BS. As I've laid out and explained, USC didn't betray anyone because expansion wasn't happening. Do you feel better now that you threw on your cape and flew in here to save the day? You all want progress, only if you're dictating it.

If you want a thread bashing the Big Ten about sabotage, maybe you should consider creating one?

Cut me the topical thread superhero crap. You must be great at dinner parties.

Progress would be football breaking totally separate from the NCAA and every school being an independent, free to schedule whomever else they want with individual TV contracts.

What is not progress is a mainly Midwestern conference cutting the throats of longtime partners by inviting schools across the country. Oh, I guess the “alliance” wasn’t really a thing either? I feel like people have every right to hurl some turds towards the Big 10 right now. I also have a feeling this is going to fail miserably for every sport outside of football for the LA schools.

Hers is what I'm having a real hard time understanding with you. Why do you think I'm defending the Big Ten conference? Where did I ever say I was? I was comparing individual schools until you came storming in to save your peer. Why are you trying to create an argument that doesn't exist on this thread?

You diverted the attention towards the ACC, which has literally ZERO to do with this thread. It’s pretty simple.
