Look at what I wrote earlier about the USC president not wanting to add schools. She didn't want to because ther were none to add! I keep shifting to USC/UCLA because, in the case of USC, this thread is about them and not the turd you're trying to stir. Like I was telling Mark, spare me the better than thou BS. Progress would be football breaking totally separate from the NCAA and every school being an independent, free to schedule whomever else they want with individual TV contracts.

What is not progress is a mainly Midwestern conference cutting the throats of longtime partners by inviting schools across the country. Oh, I guess the “alliance” wasn’t really a thing either? I feel like people have every right to hurl some turds towards the Big 10 right now. I also have a feeling this is going to fail miserably for every sport outside of football for the LA schools.
