See 4th paragraph about lowering field and added ing 2k seats. Doubt. EMU would need to lower the field and could add say 4 rows of seats endline to endline on the home side.

Since no/none of those seats are handicapped accessible! I think it's outrageous bad! A total waste of time and money! Handicapped seating is outrageously bad as it is! and now this!

Please explain the current handicap seating, why it makes it worse and bonus question: how would you improve it?

I've done this many times. So for those who refuse to read my posts I'll explain it again. Knowing that it was people like you we had to fight to get the ADA passed and why it so weak now. People with your mind set had us compromise the teeth out of it.
The closest handicapped seating on the home field side, home field mind you. Is 100 feet from the edge of the playing field. Also it is even with the very back of end zone. So we have a great view of an incomplete pass just off the end zone. It's the seating they can't normally sell. Also the benches behind you/me if someone is there isn't enough room for people walk behind to not kick the wheels of your chair. There are no handicapped capable restrooms, or there weren't handicapped portajohns until complaints. There are no concessions. To get to any of the special activities down by the main entrance we have go the gate and at the beginning of season we would have to buy another ticket to get back in. And then there's the time involved. Even if you can get transportation down and back "which if you are in a chair isn't possible at this time" you'll miss a full quarter of the game. And if you did get back it was highly likely someone else was in your spot, that is even you could get there. This is what it was like during Howard game. During the rest of the year that area was mostly empty. Unlike non-handicapped people we who have spine injuries and have to use the bathroom also have to use the toilet seat. If you think it's bad for women it's a lot worst for those of use that have to use it. I have carry my own sanitation wipes. Anything you wish to learn please ask. I've been fighting this fight for over 48 years. One of the reasons the convo got built was that agreed to support it if they would make 8 of the seats only 8 handicapped seats at floor level! The first thing they cut was those seats! I still have the plans they gave me the plans have those 8 seats on it! So don't come to me and ask why!?

Trying to understand what you wrote:

1). You have a lot of complaints about handicap seating, access, restrooms, etc.

2). I don't understand how adding field level seats changes anything for the better or worse.

3). I am still not sure where handicap seating is. Secction number? Rows? As I don't have a mental picture I have a hard time responding.

All I know about handicap facilities is that I went to games with Bill Fennel. Bill was I guess 94 and we got special parking and rode the cart.

I understand since you've support the handicapped as long it doesn't cost anything. And you're not mobility impaired.
They will be spending millions on the upgrades not one cent for better handicapped access. The home handicapped seating on south west side closest to the convo sections 110-114 concourse level look it up on the stadium seating layout. The cart can't handle wheelchairs nor those that use walkers. My main difficulty isn't walking but sitting. I have to have my knees below my waist. On the visitors side the whole concourse level is handicapped accessible. And it has handicapped accessible restrooms. No concessions for the last few years. No tea for you.
