I think the only way you get an auto bid for every FBS conference is a 16-team playoff which would allow for 6 at-large. Maybe if it consolidates into 8 conferences then you could have a 12-team playoff with 4 at-large. But I have my doubts whether the networks want to waste any airtime on Alabama stomping Kent State in a first round game or that the power programs want to trot their players out for an extra injury opportunity.

Well by all means --if the power 5 little darlings don't want to trot out their players in a NATIONAL PLAYOFF SYSTEM---then they can opt out --reject the invitation --------------------------or do you think they should dictate the rules and only play the teams that they deem worthy of their appearance --------------------and what about regular season buy games against perceived inferior teams --they play those games -----however they might feel a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST ROUND game against a perceived inferior team is beneath them 03-lmfao----the heck with them and their superiority complex

Karl and Ponytail are now apparently NCAA football power brokers, who have decision making powers over the actual schools, the fans that watch the games, and anyone with an IQ over 40.

Karl & Ponytail
"Georgia, you are not invited. UTSA Vs. Northern Illinois, take it or leave it."

04-drinky

NCAA POWER BROKERS ?-DECISION MAKING POWERS ?- Actually I considered your model/decision making powers superior ---the model that each and every conference in the entire world SEC/BIG10/ACC/BIG12/PAC10/PAC12/NBA/MLB/NFL/MSL/ABA/WFL/USFL/ etc etc etc---had MEMPHIS #2 on EVERYBODYS list only behind Cincinnati----and the BIG12 DECISION MAKERS would 100% not choose Houston.

PRETENDER--"MEMPHIS in--Houston out"
Big12 to the PRETENDER: Houston in--MEMPHIS out

You NEVER cease to amaze the entire board with your astonishing/incredible insight/acumen and decision making /the ability to evaluate all facts and come to an accurate prediction .

Rudd was told we were in...twice, backed up by others who were told the same thing.

You want Northern Illinois and UTSA in, and 18 of the top 25 out. You think that the MAC, CUSA, and Sunbelt should have the same number of playoff teams as the Big Ten, $EC, Big 12, and ACC.

That is your weirdo idea of who is deserving.

Pure trophy culture socialism Karl.

Obviously you and Rudd need better sources HUH
