RE: CUSA to have new TV Deal?
They did. Games on ESPN+ and games can be moved to the main ESPN channels if a game is of any significance like last year’s ranked and undefeated UTSA playing 6-1 UTEP.

I can see ESPN watching Liberty very closely if they become a dominant force in the conference. If that happens, they can get preferred treatment over the rest just like Boise State and the MWC. The other 8 will put up with it as long as they get some exposure and for the sake of “stability”.

Ill add that Liberty appears to have a good working relationship with ESPN. Our TV contract as an Indy guarantees 1 home game on a linear ESPN channel with the Network's option to move & air another game to Thursday or Friday night. Several of our home games have been on ESPN2, ESPNU & ESPNews with some of the games using our broadcast crew. Most to all of home games in almost every sport we have, including some Club Sports (all ACHA D1 Men's Hockey) are aired one ESPN3 or ESPN+. I've also heard that our AD is leading New CUSA's TV negotiating efforts. McCaw also said in a recent interview that CUSA would announce a new TV contract within the next few months. The exact definition of "the next few months" is left of to speculation, as he doesn't really ever spill the beans.

As far as our athletic "dominance" or performance in New CUSA, we'll see. I think we'll definitely be in the upper half of the conference, and contend in most sports. But I think New CUSA will be better than most think, and it should be really good in MBB.
