WOW--just imagine if last years BB team had Wilt/Alcindor/Oscar/Hondo/Russell------better yet Parks/Lee/Penny/Kenon/Finch

It isn't pretend. White didn't get injured and Adair was our backup. Swap Patterson's seasons and we would have gone to NY6 the year we lost at UCF in the AAC Championship game and wouldn't have gone in 2019.

Countering your usual nonsense with a factual point about injuries derailing a season and how luck plays a part in everything. Of course you are too thick to understand that.

You are too thick to comprehend how things would have been different if Gray and Alexander weren't ineligible or Vaughn was hurt. You know, actual Memphis Tigers on actual teams, not like the stupidities that you list. You judge the coach and the teams exactly the same...only you. 04-drinky

With apologies to Reagan -"there you go again"---pretending again---wanting to swap Pattersons seasons ----maybe DeAngelo could have been 20 years younger and played on that team--or Bruce 30 years later --if if if they could only SWAP SEASONS TOO

AGAIN, you are too thick to understand. The point is that luck plays a huge part in everything and our current coach has had lousy luck. IF we had Gainwell and Coxie and more than 2 practices with less than a month off before SMU, we would have gone 12-0. IF Norvell had lousy luck, White would have been hurt before the season started and we would have gone 8-4 instead of 12-1.

Nothing to do with coaching, nothing to do with idiotic lists of players from 100 years ago that didn't play for us. Just pure good or bad luck, that nobody can control.

Also, our current coach is 11-2 at home and that isn't good enough for you...of all people 04-drinky

The famous losers cry/mantra---IF If IF if ---IF ONLY- IF only-if only------our current coach has created most of his luck from day one----------2 bad all the other coaches across the nation all had full practices ----they were SOOOO LUCKY--covid didn't hit their programs ---only MEMPHIS---plus we were so unlucky --we were the only team in the entire nation that had injuries -------Winners win ---LOSERS make excuses and pretend and say IF -IF ONLY

It is hilarious that you of all people hold others to such impossible standards, yet hold yourself to the lowest standards. If you had proper self awareness you would be ashamed.

Quote:our current coach has created most of his luck from day one

He created the injury to his starting quarterback during the summer, all the injuries to the offensive line and created Gainwell leaving because of covid, Coxie leaving, having a month off and 2 practices before SMU?

Clearly it is his fault that 4 members of Gainwell's family died of covid.

You are really outdoing yourself here 04-drinky
