And aint it funny how the news of future expansion and doom for the B12 always comes from the remaining AAC people?

The PAC12 could have any of those schools yesterday. Why all of the sudden in 2024 will they want them then???

Pony is just parroting what the Kansas, Iowa State and WVU boards are saying— OMG we got to get out of this conference, these new schools stink. The Kansas and Iowa State posters all think a B10 invite is imminent and the WVU posters think the ACC or SEC is going to give them a golden ticket any day now. The other theory thrown around is a merger of the “better” BXII schools and the PAC12.

It sounds a lot like our board from 2012-2021.

No expansion is happening from a P5 besides the possibly the Big 12 until ACC contract comes up. Only USC, UCLA, Clemson, Florida St., North Carolina, and Virginia could start a conversation before then.

Kansas would be an ok Big 10 add but they would need a name like USC/ND to actually start such a conversation.

Does basketball have enough clout in the current college athletics world to drive such a move?

Because Kansas football is a long standing clown show.
