Not the way to end the year, especially when a victory over either would have resulted in a bowl. Overall I actually have them with an 88% chance of making a bowl, and a most likely finish of 8-4. There are only 4 "likely" wins on the schedule though, so they'll have to make their own luck.

I was mostly pointing out that both division winners lost OOC, somewhat decapitating the SEC's playoff chances. Overall, the SEC non-conference results are pockmarked with losses in this sim, not just to Oregon and Miami. Ole Miss, Auburn, and Alabama are the only SEC teams to go 4-0 OOC. Alabama had a decent win over Texas and would have made the playoff over Oklahoma if they had played and defeated Georgia.
But alas, Jimbo squeezed out another 3 point win over Saban. Makes one think a Notre Dame - Alabama game would have been a good Wild Card matchup to test the mettle of both teams.
