You have to learn to lead the offense and it's much harder for you to get your shot off. For a 6'5" shooting guard the transition is a lot more simple. Space the floor, and knock it down when the ball finds you. And at 6'5" getting your shot off is obviously easier. The massive thing this team is missing is a wing with decent size that can knock down threes. A player like that would be a big factor with our strong PG play. That's the role Johnson was supposed to fill.

Sure I realize, like all freshman, Moss could come in an be a flop. Heck, we thought Peterson was a shooter and after 4 years he left here as a 30% shooter. All I'm saying is right now Moss appears to be the only guy in the plans for next year that could fill this role. Yes, we'll recruit at least two more players so that could change but as it stands right now Moss has a golden opportunity in front of him.

I will agree 100-percent with all you say ... but I would still feel a lot better with a Booman-Al Fisher-JWalker type scorer in the mix as well. And none of those guys were knockout 3-point shooters. Though all had their moments.
