Getting high on their own supply / administrator groupthink. All of the ADs and administrators at other Division I schools they talk to think it's a great idea.

Administrators probably had some donors/sponsors approach them and offer to kick in some money to launch a program if the school kicked in the rest.

Fortunately, UNO has other ways to accomplish its goals. I wish them well.

What's interesting is that we could be seeing more widely applicable data here. Does this vote reflect in a more general way how Gen Z feels about American football? If so, all those schools getting CFP cash now had better bank it while they can.
