As the saying goes-you will get used to it . The A10 is not happening anytime soon for UNCW if ever unless it totally falls apart at the top and is desperate for new members . Looks like the CAA is the only option in all its glory . It has been a terrible collapse of a once tough mid major conference to what it is now . The addition of new schools has only decreased the chance for a NCAA bid and it has all most no chance of ever getting an at large bid . No leadership in the CAA and damn little at UNCW has put it in a bad spot for years to come .

UNCW (and other CAA teams) will get at-large bids when they put together great records that include scheduling - and beating - good out of conference teams.

When the CAA was hitting on all cylinders in the early-mid 2000s the conference leadership writ large couldn't capitalize on it by getting a TV deal. Unless they have some mastermind plan to use getting all these new teams to get a TV deal (and ditching FloSports does not equal 'getting a TV deal') then the same thing will happen again should some school put together a great team that gets real attention.

Until that happens it's just a larger group of teams sitting around the CAA dinner table, all fighting over the same single chicken leg.
