RE: JMU vs Murray State @ 2:30pm 11/24/2021
It looks like most of Murray State's production comes from two players, 6'5 guard Tevin Brown and 6'10 forward KJ Williams, who average 20 and 18 points respectively. They both shoot over 50% from the field and over 40% from the arc. But, neither are especially good from the free throw line at 67% and 58% respectively (60% as a team), something to keep in mind down the stretch. The difference could be their 6.3 steals per game average to our 12.6, exactly double. That could be a double-digit swing in our favor.

The one thing I would like to see us do better is stop with the pump fake behind the arc. It just gives defenders an opportunity to get in the shooter's face. If you have an open look, catch, go up, and release. I believe our three-point production would benefit greatly by doing that one thing.

If our defense is as smothering as it has been, I like our chances!
