That said if it ends up being DeSantis I'll vote for him. I'd rather Ted Cruz win the nomination myself. I like the bulldog in him.

Ted Cruz has a significant amount of usefulness in the Senate right now that would be even more useful with DeSantis in the White House.

I have said before and will say again, that I think a DeSantis and Nikki Haley ticket is the most desirable.

As the list of Dem Congressmen and Senators jumping off grows, the more the Republicans will want to keep the long term serving members (veterans) right where they are.
