I think we'll all need to get used to early season games against nobodies and a few conference games on ESPN+ going forward. I subscribed for the first time this year since even more games are on it.

Actually, if the AD would schedule better games than Alabama A & M, they might be on regular cable. They are rated almost dead last, sub-300 in Sagarin, and there is no good reason to play them. If they need cheap buy games, NKU and Wright St. bring a lot more to the table; better yet, a home and away with Dayton would probably produce enough revenue to cover the away year and still leave UC money ahead.
