The CAA only had one good win in the OOC and that is by JMU. There are 3 more chances for big wins and that is it. Hofstra plays Arkansas tonight, Elon plays Duke and Arkansas the next 2 games.

JMU will have great chances to beat every team in the middling CAA, but probably in a lot of close ones unless they get better on offense. We will need to see much better endgame closeouts from a team struggling at 65% from the FT line.

I think this is the most difficult stretch of the season and will define if the Dukes can be a contender for postseason basketball, or be a Meh CAA team like he rest of the league this year.

JMU has 5 straight road games. None of them are standout teams, but certainly hard to win as road warriors over the holidays.

At Towson
At Delaware
At Drexel

Those first 3 CAA games are in a span of 5 days. Not conducive to getting rest or much practice and coaching in between games.

Edit- Hofstra pulls the upset over #24 Arkansas. 89-81
Big win for the CAA and will be big if JMU can beat Hofstra once or twice this season.

I’m not sure what you mean by “not stand out”….Towson and Delaware are solid teams. Arguably, Penn too. Hopefully JMU will win them all, but realistically would do well to win 3 out of 5 on the road.
