Mick's doing fine this year. National expectations for UCLA were too high this year because everyone overrates "fluky" tournament runs. UCLA could have very easily lost in the first round (play in) last year.

Based on the returning roster it looked like a top 10-15 team to me and they are sitting there at 12 kenpom. He's dramatically improved their defense from last year, which was expected because they were very unMick on that end last season. They have great offensive talent to go with that. They are a sweet 16 type team that could absolutely get back to the final four with a couple breaks.
