I thought the technical foul by Memphis within the final minute might turn that game at the final buzzer but I also saw a screen graphic showing Memphis having made 12 of 12 free throws. That scoring clip at the line may win most games (and I'm almost afraid to watch this UC team shoot free throws).

In spite of his struggles there is something I like about Penny and his pride in the program and their city. Memphis really has some great fans and they've deserved better than the hand they've been dealt in the realignment wars.
