And he didn’t commit to ECU until 2 months after Wes was hired. Think of this team with a guy that size who can find his own shot and can shoot at that clip from outside. Egads.

Wes biggest mistakes this offseason was honoring banks scholarship and brining in his 3 guys from UNCG. That is four scholarships being used on guys that are high major players.

I disagree on the first and I thought the Koval offer made sense and has paid off, but do think there is room to criticize the Hensley / McGinnis offers.

The reason I'm more OK with Banks/Koval is those are one year commitments. Banks can transfer or be a walk on if he wants after this season. Koval only had the COVID year left. Koval has provided valuable depth and is usually our best end of game option at the 5. He's a damn good shot blocker and can open things up for drives on offense.

I can see in flashes what Wes sees in Hensley/McGinnis, but we probably will have higher caliber options this offseason and assuming they stick around they limit our roster construction flexibility.
