This is a good point. I'd also point out, the cupboard isn't bare, it just lacks true, high end difference makers. A bunch of these guys could have given good minutes on most of our post Huggins teams (not 2018, probably not 2012), but none are meant to be the A or B option and the only guys that may have that potential are Saunders (as a facilitator) and Vik.

We also really lack quality wings. Just no length, and limited athleticism from that group and teams really take advantage of that, particularly on the offensive glass.

Honestly, after watching so far this season, I think Cronin's first team had pretty much as much talent, and much more baller attitude than this group.

That first Cronin team wasn't overly skilled, but they fought like hell. I don't see much fight in this group.

*exception to that is Deonta. he was a skilled scorer.
Deonta, John Williamson, Sikes, and Cedric would probably all four start on this years roster. Even though they didn't win often, I really liked that squad. They fought hard. I respected the heck out of that.

The more I think about it, and it may be rose-colored glasses of the past, but I think that team had a talent advantage over what I see so far this year.
