Actually its just the opposite of that. There's a stronger chance we jump OSU as our standard deviation bar is larger and we have much more room to go up than down.

I certainly hope this model is correct because my feeling is the committee drops us to #7.

I think the model is good, but I am guessing it doesn't really apply to G5 teams who have an auto penalty.
