Doesn't really surprise me. Pitt is going to win the 4th best conference and has two close losses to fairly average teams on there. EPA doesn't inherently factor in who won vs who lost, so Oklahoma winning by 5 at Tulane isn't much different than, say, SMU losing by 3 to Memphis or by by 7 to Houston

Most computer rankings have loved Pitt this year. They have been kind of excellent in their wins. The two times they've not played well they've lost.

Pitt as an outlier here makes sense. Wisconsin made sense too given their game control. I really think Wisconsin is the biggest threat to a big ten playoff team. They could absolutely beat whoever comes out of the east.
