RE: Did EMU MBB have an intra-squad scrimmage today?
Luckey,

My posts were a stream of consciousness. I attended a Howard FB game two weeks ago with a large crowd in a small stadium. Saw You Tube which had Michie Stadium at West Point. Saw Howard's "Bison Madness" last night webcast which was completely full and rocking.

I started to think what makes a GREAT VENUE. the right location (Bowen)? The right size (Michie Stadium). Howards (2K+) gym? The atmosphere, views, etc. (Michie Stadium). What makes for a BAD VENUE? Say the UConn FB stadium many miles from campus? Parking and traffic issues (UofM). Stadium/arena too big (MANY in the MAC).

I was thinking: Howard got say 2K+ students to attend a "Madness" event. We have a scrimmage and attract 200. Why? As we know, most of our MBB/WBB attendance are locals. Surprisingly few students attend.
