It’s all the defense’s fault. We had 3 dropped balls that were deep shots, so the offense is excused.

Meanwhile the defense kept Liberty to 3 points for a half while being extremely short handed regarding starters in the back 7.

The defense, even being injured, was not the issue Saturday. If that game is 17-3, the defense would have likely kept it going. There was a point in the game where it got to be our defense basically needed to score to keep us in it. That’s not fair to anybody on that side of the ball.

The defense held up well in the first half. They were also usually in position to make a tackle on Willis, but they couldn't finish the job.
