Is your last name St. John?

Why would you say something like that? I am just saying the $ is the main thing tha matters as that is how the program is ran and what pays for things. Who cares if only 37k actually use their tickets if they are all paid fully? I don't see the reason to always put so much focus on butts in seats. As long as we have 30k a game....i am happy and that is plenty fine for a good crowd/experience. We help people focus on attendance since it is all we talk about as well. Let's find a new subject

While I agree a sellout every single game is not a reasonable expectation nor is it important, attendance is important beyond just ticket sales. Butts in seats buy stuff at the concession stands, eat at the restaurants nearby, and more importantly create an atmosphere. It also signals interest in the program. That all the tickets were sold (they weren't, by the way) is good, but, when so many of those tickets are bought in bulk by companies and even by the city, that is not a great signal. That we couldn't even give them away

Also, the fact that the stadium wasn't absolutely packed for the first game specifically is not good at all. We're not talking three games in, we're talking the very first game out of the gate in the stadium that we managed to get after literally taking to the streets

6 years later we couldn't scrape up enough people to fill all those seats? It is pathetic and an indictment of the fanbase. The concourses and beer rails should've been as full as claimed AND the seats full. The fire marshal should've had to close the gates. Scheduling against Talladega was a mistake but not as big as everyone thinks, and Alabama and Auburn are going to be playing every weekend UAB is so stop using that one
