That being said, I cannot for the life of me understand how certain vaccinated people cannot see the point of those who choose not to be vaccinated. Unless we make flu vaccines mandatory (also a communicable disease that can kill) advocate for not paying medical bills related to obesity (also a choice that can greatly increase your risk for serious illness) or decide a woman’s right to choose what happens to her body should take a backseat to what is deemed the good of others, you have to at least weigh the possible ramifications of the decisions and laws we are creating in relation to covid.


I am against government mandates for vaccines, because I don’t think government should tell you to eat your vegetables. But I am all for common sense, and you should eat your vegetables without the nanny state telling you to do it. Taking the vaccine is common f-ing sense. This policy is about protecting the health care system from overload. It is fair in that it allows both those with common sense and those without the opportunity to attend the games. These slight intrusions are fair and reasonable to protect the health care system from possibly collapsing. The anti-vaxx crowd would actually have a point about these rules (under the individual Liberty banner), if we had a significantly more robust healthcare system. We don’t. As such they are trying to off load the consequences of their decisions onto other people. That is not real freedom or patriotism in my opinion.
