I think people saying Same old Rice, nobody cares, we will probably give up 50 next week - not so good.

Unfortunately, the board is currently dominated by these people who repeat their same old complaints and negativity on an almost daily basis. He has driven many posters to silence, and more than a few have left The Parliament permanently as a result. That's a fact.

C'mon. You constantly attempt to regulate the narrative here, particularly when it comes to baseball. You have very little tact, and you're often very arrogant. People are run off by posters like yourself, not from any negativity associated with losing.

Attack me all you want-- good on you. However, you're dead wrong if you think that the negativism that has overtaken this board over the past couple years-- with numerous posters simply repeating the same old gripes and doomsday scenarios ad nauseum-- has not run many quality posters off of here. Many have quit because they just can't take the constant dumping on the University.

Negativism has been the hallmark of Rice boards for many years. One reason I choose my screen name was to run counter to the negative attitudes I found here - 20 years ago, during the Hatfield era. More failure brings more negativism. Just win. I look forward to the day when we can be negative about our chances of repeating a 10 win season for the fourth consecutive year.

Walt is opinionated and vociferous in proclaiming those opinions. So what? No crime in that. We all have opinions, and many of us express them. I appreciate his supporting of the U. and the athletic programs.
