Why fire the defensive staff if you already think you're gonna fire the whole staff after next year?

I mean .... Florida fired DC Grantham, and then a week or two later, fired Mullen. I know that was a desperate move by Mullen to keep his job ... but it still looks silly now.

If things are this hopeless .... and maybe they are (I just read this thread, and don't have to sit through these games. But I'm not far removed from Louisville enduring this kind of implosion, so I know the pain involved, especially factoring in a $13 million buyout we had to eat.) .... just fire everybody and take some financial hits, to bring in someone else who can re-engage the fans, and breathe some life back into it.


Who -- realistically -- could Georgia Tech hire? Especially considering that there are some huge gigs out there that need to be filled.
