Disappointing so far - sure - but don't know if it's fair to say we are 'far' worse. The only match we 'should' have won (based on rankings) was SC. Oregon and Pitt were both ranked more highly than we were. That said, you'd kinda hope a top 20 team would win at least 1 of 3 against other top 20's.

It also hard to say we're worse than last year's squad, let alone "way worse", when we have the exact same roster with a couple of new recruits. We are not playing well at the moment-- making way, way too many mistakes/errors-- and, frustratingly, we've been unable to make adjustments against SC and Oregon when in each match one player was beating us single handedly. Kostelecky's absence certainly hurt yesterday, particularly on defense.
